Unexpected Page Rank Update

Yes page ranks updated yesterday. Learning wemasters is now with PR 2 from PR0.
Normally the page rank process takes place after 3 months but this time it was so quick. It has been hardly a month I think the last Google Pagerank Updated.
Google updates their page ranks quiet often but the Toolbar Pageranks are once in a time. These pageranks are mostly useful for selling links and maintaning something like the “website status”.
Pageranks are otherwise useless. SERPS dont have anything to do with pageranks. You can check for your pagerank using this site or by installing the Google Toolbar.

Forum Posting ?

As a webmaster I am quiet active on almost all the top webmasters forums here on the web. I spend 2 - 3 hours daily posting on forums. The two major reasons behind it are here.

Signature Links
On, almost all forums signature links are dofollow. So it ads a spice to my SEO and attractive signature links bring me traffic. I am getting around 50 Unique Visitors from signatures every day.

Knowledge
I can make an identity by sharing knowledge and also search for more knowledge from the people who know more than me. It helps to communicate with more people of my field.
You can stay active on the forums of the similar catetegory to whatever you do. Trust me, It helps a lot in your web reputation.

You must be knowing that Google Spiders Crawl through your site and read it, then decide the quality of your site and then your rankings. You must also be knowing that the quality and rankings of your sites depends on number of quality backlinks you have around the web. Backlinks are food for Google Spiders and they should be treated as food. In this article I am give to tell you some tips on handling backlinks.

Quality Food Keeps You Fit
Food can be quality, average or bad depending on the amount of nutrients in it. The similar case is with backlinks. A quality backlink can be a link on a site with high number of pages indexed in Google, a site having a high number of backlinks and a of a similar type, to yours. A average backlink can be a site with a low number of pages indexed in Google, Low number of backlinks and a site with nothing similar to your site. A bad backlink on one site, can be the one with black hat SEO done on that site, less number of pages indexed in Google, A site totally contrary to that of your site or an Adult of a Warez site (If your site is not one of them). So think about which food, are you going to feed the Google Spiders with.

Will you to eat the same food everyday ?
No Way. Google looks at links from duplicate IP’s. You should not have a many backlink from multiple sites with the same IP. It wont affect much but it won’t show any effects. Google spider loves a variety of food.

Will you eat food that doesn’t digest ?
Yes I am talking about nofollow and dofollow links. If you are paying someone for a link just see that the one you are paying is placing a dofollow link his site. And also remember, if some one is linking you with a nofollow its of no dam use. Google Spiders wont eat it.

How much food will you Eat Daily ?
Imagine if you are given 10 Kg of food to eat every day, what will your condition be ? Many people on the web tend to buy services like : Getting reviewed on 1000 sites in a day or getting links from 1,00,000 places on the web. Feeding the spider with so many links a day may kill the spider getting worst results for you. So feed the spider with quality links slowly.
The thing I am trying to say here is that you should do your SEO with lots of concentration on the quality and the quantity of backlinks you are getting. Try not to spam for backlinks. SEO takes time, you should have patience to wait and do it slowly. Its a real tough job to get back your rankings once you loose them.

SEO is time taking for sure. When your site is new you are often confused on where to start your SEO from and you often land up doing the wrong things. So here are six simple things to do in your first month.

Submit your site to Google
Using Google Webmasters tools submit your site to Google with a Sitemap. If you have a blog you can use the Wordpress XML Sitemaps Plugin. If you own a site you can learn everything about sitemaps at sitemaps.org

Submit to Directories
There are thousands of paid as well as free directories on the web. If you have lots of money go for the paid directories, paying for them is worth. Else you can submit it to free directories. If you don’t know how to do this, catch some one who can do it. SubmitEdge does the job perfect. If you want it cheaper you can catch people on Digital Point Forums. Avoid submitting it to the Open Directory Project DMOZ as they don’t approve new sites.

Start Blog Commenting
I have explained what nofollow and dofollow links are. Majority of the blogs on the web are nofollow. Here is a directory for dofollow blogs. Target similar blogs and start commenting. Don’t give your link at the bottom of the comment it looks spammy. Just enter your URL in the box and that’s the way a link is built.

Submit every article you write to Digg
This is not a only first month, you have to do it every time you write a article. Believe me there is something cooking between Google SEO and Digg. It helps in your SEO and increases your Search Engine Position Rankings .If you have time submit it to Propeller too.

On-Page SEO
Do your on page optimization correctly. See that you include meta tags, titles, keywords etc. Website Grader will give you a perfect report of your on page SEO.

Article Submission
If you are a article writing expert try submitting your article to article directories. Only submit it to the 20 best once and submit slowly. Don’t submit it to a 1000 directories in a day, your SEO will be in a mess. If you are not an article writing expert get on article written from some one and then submit it.
That’s more than enough to do for the first month. Keep blog commenting every day. 5 comments a day. Slow SEO is the best SEO, so have patience.
