Scour ?

From the site : Founded in 2007, Scour was originally named Aftervote.com, a search engine with an AJAX backbone with one mission: to deliver the most relevant results as efficiently as possible. Almost exactly 1 year later, Aftervote was acquired by Internext media, owner and operator of the ABCSearch Network and re-branded to Scour.com

Monetizing your site with the correct programs is important. You should to sign up and where not to sign up and waste time. So I have compiled some programs which are great for monetizing your site or blog.

Pay Per Click Adserving Networks

Pay Per Click Adserving gives you results only when you have big amount of traffic on your site. At least about 500 - 800 visitors a day.

  1. Google Adsense - The leading ppc adserving program. They are the best in the Industry.
  2. Adbrite - The are not as good as Adsense but their ads are very attractive which make people click on them.
  3. Chitika - A different kind of Pay Per Click Ad Network but worth a try.
  4. Yahoo Publisher Network - Similar to Adsense. It pays via Paypal. But its still developing, it doesn’t accept all countries.
  5. ClickBooth- They have nice payouts but its a real hard job getting approved by them.

Text Link Advertising

This requires your site to be well established in search engines and sites having a page rank. Higher the page rank more the money.

  1. Text-Link-Ads - The best spot for buying and selling your links.
  2. TNX - They have good offers and good payouts.
  3. LinkWorth - Worth A Try
  4. Text Link Brokers - Real Time Brokers

Blog Reviews

Blogs having a good authority, alexa and pagerank make lots of money with this

  1. ReviewMe - Pays you minimum $20 per review you place on your site.
  2. PayPerPost - Same like review me but their support is so slow and dumb
  3. SponosoredReviews - Pays a bit lessĀ  but accepts low quality sites

Affiliate Networks

I have written a article regarding affiliate networks here.

Banner Advertisement

Entertainment and general niche sites make big time profits with this.

  1. AdEngage - Banners and text ads

RSS Feed Monetization

  1. Feedvertising - Insert ad links in your feed
  2. Pheedo - PPC for feeds.

There are so many other ways but I prefer you go with these and use them properly. Don’t voilate TOS and make money. Best of luck making money online !

I have seen many bloggers and webmasters writing about Alternatives to Adsense and stuff. Let me tell you, there is not dam alternative to adsense at this stage when its making money on per click bases. There are many other alternatives to making money online, but comparing something like Text-link-ads and making money with adsense is incorrect.

Like adsense there are many other programs which pay you per click. But no one in the entire industry is as reliable as adsense and no one else pays you as much as adsense. There are other adserving programs like cpx, triablfusion, adbrite widgetbucks, yahoo publisher etc. but not one can even be compared with adsense. There is no problem in trying these but they wont pay you much.

Google Adsense is the biggest ad serving program with 55 % of the website owners using it. It pays upto $70 to $80 to $100 per click (Depending on your site niche. Niches like Insurance banking and loans pay more as compared to entertainment or freebies) , has the best tracking system and is improving day by day.So remember when it comes to adserving technology its adsense followed by others.

Google Ad sense is a ad serving program which pays publishers when they place Google ads on their sites and people click on those ads. You must have seen something like this on other sites while you were surfing the net.

Google Adsense
And you must have clicked on some of these. When you click on these ads Google pays the website owners and advertisers pay Google for this. Google Adsense is very useful for sites with high traffic. You can be paid from $ 0.01 to $ 100 per click depending on your site niche. Entertainment, freebie sites are paid less whereas loan, banking, insurance sites are paid more. The more the traffic to your site the more the clicks and more the revenue. I don’t use Adsense on LearningWebmasters.com but i will soon be using it.

Payments

Adsense is trusted and they pay via checks. They don’t have payment gateway options available. The minimum payout is $ 100. They send you a PIN number after you reach $10 to verify your address. They pay only if you obey their rules and regulations. Else they kick you.

What not to do with Adsense ?

I have seen so many publishers getting banned. This happens because they violate Google TOS, click on their own ads or do some things by which they think they can fool Google. Let me tell you Google is a billion dollar company with extreme dominance over the web. They understand everything and you cant foll them.
So be honest with them. Don’t violate their TOS.
